Test swim

Well with gas prices what they are I decided to dunk it in the backyard instead of the ocean. The Weasel sits high in the water at rest. I was a little dissappointed when I slowly moved it across the "pond" as it moved like a stick. But when I gave it a pop it came alive. The wiggle was enough to throw the rear hook.(non crimped open eye) Needless to say the goldfish scattered when I put this thing in with them. It will be painted next week.

I don't know MAC, if you're going to fish that one I think you better change your screen name to Captain Nemo.

Plug looks great. I think I know where you test swam it. It looks like the KOI pond in front of the Peking Palace on Main Street in Falmouth!

Why even try.........

what about thinning down the "tail fin". Less weight in the rear to get it moving

Actually it is the goldfish pond in my backyard

On thinning the tail, I think I'll wait until I swim this one in some current and see how she does. A thinner tail may lessen the drag and make it swim better. That will be on the next one if the current doesn't help at a crawl.
