What you talking about?

The "plum" color of the Ron Arra is nearly identical to the "plum" John Lobb (Paris) shoe. While I wouldn't advocate it for surfcasting (full grain handsewn leather, no carbide spikes) it's a match with any navy, gray or taupe suit you could toss at it.

The Ron Arra is like the plum or cordovan shoe...nearly universal, it goes with just about everything.

That being said you can always get the GSB 1321L and cut a bit off the tip until it suits your liking. Mine is about 4"...it will cast a 3 ounce plug a freaking mile yet go lower or higher as you'd like.

But the length does wear after a while...

It all depends on what you're doing.
