Does the flavor change much in the older fish, or is it just the texture?

It's also got that extra mercury to ensure the kids grow up big and strong

Just for the record. nib got it right !! I come from when we would only eat the fish around 20 " and put the breeders back. ( when we were not fishing and selling to satisfy the dinner tables of the crowd down yonder ) BUT --- with that said, I was refering to the comment that they only eat the smaller fish. If someone is going to do so they should keep the yap shut and not encourage everyone in earshot to take note.

The tourney may or may not have had anything to do with, could be any tourney that would spur that...

22" I remember when they went to 16" an I had a hissy fit...after that anything under that we'd callum knee boot bass cause we'd walk home carryin the boots instead of wareing them.
