I think Backbeach has too much time on his hands to consider such a question. My motto is "Fish every day and ask questions later"

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

Kinda what I'm getting at. The new/full moon periods are historically times I've experienced heightened activity with large fish. They also seem to be carrying extra weight at these times too.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind
