I fish Newport a lot. The bite has slowed considerably. I noticed it fell off after the blues moved in. I will be out at Brenton reef Tuesday after work. Green bucktails have been good. Drifting eels as well. Keep this in mind the important part of the battle is to be where the fish are. For whatever reason and belive me there is many, they may not be where you think they are.
