My spikes are aluminum and cut at a special angle so you can push them in by hand and they will work at rocky beaches likeSandy neck. They were special made for fishing Nauset and have taken many 40 plus fish and 1 581nch striper these do not pull out of the sand like the plastic ones do. These spikes will last many lifetimes.
