Mike, I just prefer C'town because its closer for me and access is easier to the mouth/beach/inside. This is my first year with a boat and I'm amazed at all the fish I see in the channel (in spots I never would have tried from shore). I get a great drift on the incoming in the middle of the night, I motor up to the breachway, cut the motor, shut off the lights and drift silently up into the pond. Can't wait til October! The breachway is loaded right now with bait and bass on the incoming day and night but the bait is small and the fish are finicky.
