I was out one night this year, and had a similar encounter...after a few nice words (well more like shouts, only so he could hear me) and several attempts to show him my location with light flashes..some a-hole in a big arsed day cruiser type boat wouldnt budge..(he was less than 100ft away from me/shore) so instead of wasting my sinkers or losing my plugs..I just started launching sinker sized rocks around the guys yaught..needless to say he go spooked
and took off..
