Forget 2nd hand reports, fishing reports in the papers and magazines, ect....
I try to stay off the vhf as much as possible (I keep the volume down most of the time anyway)
I've had way too many times when I hear people ( some charter boat captains) over the radio talking that there into fish and to come on over ect...., and it turns out that they maybe caught 1 dam fish !!!
