There is indeed some valid reason to be concerned about the conditions this weekend. The combination of an offshore storm, with resultant swells, and new moon tides, often results in a lot of weed and debris being churned up along the Elizabeth Islands. Such was the case today. A friend out this am found things too weedy by the time he got to Robinson's (in spite of a hard offshore wind) and didn't think it worth going further down the islands. On the other hand, seems that it is often better to go and cope, than sit and hope.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.
1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!
It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Back from the Hunk.
Oh my aching body. Just back after a week of good fishing. Nothing spectacular but a solid pick. Met some great guys and real die hard casters. We had some good laughs and good sausage . Had one decent fish at 34 pounds but most were between 16-25 pounds with the average amount of dinks. Slug-Go's, pencils, and black needles did the damage. Lots and lots of walking and rambling the stones but definitely worth the pain. Dirty water, wind, and weed made me work hard to find productive areas. A great trip all around.
