The reason i suggested the SB.com logo John, is that most people have come to recognize that logo after many years of coming to this site, thats the first thing they see. And how can we have an "official" SB.com shirt without the official logo? Your design is great dont get me wrong. But to me this is not a shirt for SB.com and its members, it's a shirt for the plug builders. but as usual i need to give some input and cause trouble! 
A good sized pic of the SB.com logo on the back would rock, its nice and simple, and its about the site only, and not about just the sponsers.
Maybe a big pic of the Official SB logo on the back, and a small pic of a plug on the front with SB.com accross it. The best of both worlds!

I like the pic, but I does NOT make me think of this site, and if I wore it going down the street, I don't think anyone who sees it, would know what striped-bass.com is!!!
I think you need to include the flag logo !!!

I like Skips idea as well.
The very 1st and 2nd PlugFest were down Cape and there were no sponsors... just some great builders meeting to talk, swap plugs, and fish. No offense to all the commercial builders but it does`nt fit the current event in Rhody either..... looks to commercial.

Maybe we're thinking different things but the first were in Slip's garage... If you are thinking about the Plugger's Bash then we're thinking different things. And what looks too comercial? The shirt? I was shooting for something a little different than slapping S-B on a shirt, something truly different and cool.... |

SB.com has an AWESOME logo, A great looking striper with the American flag in the backround, with Striped-Bass.com underneath the fish. Its perfect in my opinion. If you're gonne have a shirt and call it the official SB.com shirt, how can we not have the logo on the shirt? I think we overlooked the obvious and tried to get to flashy.
Everyone loves the SB.com logo already, yet when it comes time to print shirts, it totally gets overlooked. Johns design is fanstasic, but that would be a great shirt to make up for the Plugfest or something like that, not as the official shirt of the sight.
This sites logo is fantastic! Lets print that bad boy on a shirt and be proud of this site! After all, everyone who is a member or people who browse this site frequently, will instantly recognize this site's great logo on a shirt! They will see this sight, and the logo on the shirt, and put two and two together.
Seems kinda obvious to me! But i dont have any say in this, just giving my .02 |

Its nice and simple and this IS what i think of when i think of this site! A good sized image of this on the back, and maybe a smaller image ont he breast on the front. Its perfect! Ok i'm being annoying i know, but i just cant understand how this would not make a kick ass shirt?! I think of this before i think of Plugs and Plug Builders.

This is typical of stuff on this site,
Boat fish don't count, only fish caught on wood plugs count,commercial fishing is bad, yo yoing is wrong, ect.........
I'm not going knock plug building as I like plugs as much as the next guy, but if you're going to do a SITE shirt, it needs to incorporate a bit of every thing the site represents, the flag logo included (paid sponsors also)
Not a just plug building !

Its def a shirt for the Sponsers, the first thing you notice about the shirt is the sponsers, i had to look hard to see the Striped-bass.com on it! Let the sponsers put out thier own shirts, and let the site have a shirt thats just for SB.com. To over the top, i'd walk around feeling like a freakin car at a Nascar race with all the damn sponsers and adds posted on my back!! 
This shirt shouldnt be dedicated to one group or a few sponsers, it should be a shirt that includes ALL Sb.com members and isnt a walking advertisment for Sponsers and Plug builders. The Striper/American flag is simple, yet classy, and includes ALL Striped-Bass.com members. And its our offical logo after all!! And is focused on the site ONLY and not Sponsers.
I'm with RR on this, as much as i like the she current design on the shirt, its to over the top for me to actually wear.
And the fact that Skitterpop and I actaully agree on this, should tell you something is seriosly wrong with the concept of the shirt! |

Sorry but no thanks do not like it. Seems to be a ad for plugs not SB.com I know they put up money but so have many others here year after year and they do not ask to have a shirt for it. I may be getting old and cranky but I am disappointed in the design  |

the shirt looks like this is STRICKly a plug building website, not a striped bass website
plain logo.....classy.....gives the website free advertisment
just my opinion

Bruce - I'm looking into a smaller run but I can't go and drop 1700-2K on the shirts the way I would have needed to in order to buy them the way I wanted. I'm looking into a few protos first...

Create a paypal account for a t-shirt and once you get the money to cover the cost then you send to production. It will be like a "reverse layaway".
You can even have a money counter to show progress.

Alot of great ideas, one I don't hear is quality of t-shirt cost vs graphics cost. I would rather have a more well made shirt with less design than an ink laden piece of cheesecloth. I do own a Surfrats.com shirt with sponsors logos on the short sleeve and most fishermen think it looks cool. John, take a break for the holidays and don't sweat it.  |
