Spinning reel - part name ??
Gotta order a part - no idea what to call it.
It's the protective knob/cap that fits over the handle shaft on the side of the reel - the side not being used. Make sense?
Thanks.

Maybe it's a dummy capnut
Jim, got the reel spooled with 65 whiplash to the brim, I added 50 yards of 30 mono backing and put all the line back on, I think I am ready.

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

You're gonna have to install warning lights/sirens for the other side.

I'm pretty sure it's referred to as a bearing cover.

That's a good canidate for thread locker....$3 and anything you don't want to ever come loose never will....good for lawn mower and snow blower bolts that loosen with vibration too...
