Can't help u with rocks,we don't have any. I fished eels dead,alive,skins,,,,,dead stop,an yes even reeling as fast as I could. u just don't know what the mood of sb will be that night. now this could help. I've fished in between moored boats lots of times.[think of the boat as a rock] I'd toss that eel almost AT the motor, so the eel was right behind the boat.let it drift for 15 sec. ,If I didn't get a hit right off I'd try again. after 6 trys no fish I'd try another boat[rock]. see I learned fish like to sit behind things, doesn' t mater what it is. SO try slow-fast till u get a hit, an just repeat what ever u were doing to get that hit, if u can remember what is was u were doing
