That being said, I still fish at night and look for the bigger fish, but at dawn, tossing small lures on light tackle is a blast. I may catch in an hour more fish than I caught in the last month.
Agreed, I have also pulled 15 to 25 pounder out of schoolie blitzes so I fish them and have a blast, cut your tail hook off and leave the center treble, no problems

Better yet break out the Sage 8wt and lash on a size one Hi-Tie and crush the barb and enjoy, 10lb tippet and your having a ball.
