I got good fish last year in late Nov. I got the last week of Dec off with nothing to do, where do you southern guys suggest I head? May even trailer my boat south. Anyone up for a roadtrip?

The Fall run is yet still wide spread....much like in the Spring where they come in to numerous points along the eastern seaboard at the same time....

methinks they snake in and out with currents and bait all along the watchtower

Common misconception is that because the fish are in Maine they are coming by Mass and RI. Ever hear about them going by on the "outside"? Happens all the time. I think is's close to over. There may be a few good fish right through Thanksgiving but you are now fishing for stragglers. The big push was about 2 weeks ago when we were slamming 30# fish every day.

No boat, back in the suds.
