New fishing partners. The guys I fish with simply fish too often, and are a bad influence on me. In an attempt to keep up with them, I spend countless days and nights strategizing, scheming, and planning the next venture. Last night I knew it went too far when my wife asked me, "Why are you reading a chart book, do you really derive any value from it?"

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

Wink

I forgot to add to mention to my own wish list:

1) A 35 foot Cabo sporftisher.

2) A nice slip in south county to park the boat year-round.

3) Home not too far from slip.

4) Unlimited supply of gas/diesel.

Hey, a fella can dream.

Well I have lost 2 seasons!!

1. My wife has been very ill for the last 18 months and I hope she will be better next season so I can leave her home alone!

2. My motor died this year (spring) and I had to repower, which I have wiht a used motor. And that wasn't till mid Spet., Hope to have repair free year next season!!

3. Stainless folding chair for the boat!

4. Enclouser for the boat so I can fish the cold months!

Thats not much to ask for is it?? I have only fished 7 times in 2 seasons

VS 200 for Christmas..... and a custom Lami to go with it.

Want: VS200S & Need: a place to stay after buying it. I can do dishes.

Standing on the water, casting your bread
While the eyes of the idol with the iron head are glowing
Distant ships sailing into the mist
You were born with a snake in both of your fists while a hurricane was blowing

Hmmm....... Let's see?

A needle that's so good and catches so well it makes Numbskull beg on his knees to give him one when I am the only source.

A 3 day work week from May 1st to November 15th but paid for a full week.

A yellow banana

An 18 foot Lund Alaskan with the camo paint (actually a shrink wrap decal now) with a 30 HP motor, a Riptide trolling motor up front and bunk trailer

A lifetime supply of 5/0 Texposer hooks, 6 inch Pond shiner and 6 inch Chartreuse ice Sluggos

A genuine Purple Eel Creek Chub Surfster in mint condition w/box

Some long lost relative show up and offer to pay my kid(s) college tuition for me

A 8x8 hot tub filled with fifty gallons of chocolate pudding, a case of whipped cream in cans, chilled to the right temperature and two blondes between 25 and 30 years old built like brick sh!t houses but a little slow when it comes to committment on my part. Just need to relax is all after a hard days fishing is all.

That's about it. Not too much to ask.

Why even try.........

Dream on, Flap. Once I email your wife that last request I won't need to beg for any of your plugs, she'll gladly let me have 'em all.

a trip out fishing with the guys and gals on this board where they show me how to fish and at the end of each trip I have a plug that I have learned how to use properly and have succeeded in bringing in fish.

thats what I really want.

There is a fine line that seperates a fisherman from a fool standing in water swinging a stick.

will cook for food
...and plugs
