I think you'll like the upgrade Mike. Its tough to get oil into that levelwind bearing though. Best way I found was to hold the reel sideways with the levelwind worm gear verticle. You want the levelwind bearing on the bottom. Drip the oil down the length of the worm gear and gravity will pull it right into the levelwind bearing for you. Let it sit a minute on its side. Be free with the oil on the wormgear so enough runs down into the bearing. Excess oil on the levelwind bearing won't slow the reel down the way it will if you put too much in the spool bearing. With fast rocket oil I had to lube it often but if you use the normal rocket oil or simple 3 in 1 oil , you should be able to oil it less often.

High speed stainless gears are nice. You don't always need to retrieve fast but when you need it , its nice to have and the stainless is the way to go.
