Bummer for your boat damage. I guess you just can't rely on anyone to take the care that you would. I had a guy tell me at the boat ramp that he was going to 'BUMP" me. When I looked up his stern was swinging towrads the side of my boat with his engine up. That skeg would have done alot more than 'bump" my boat. I got there in time and kicked his boat back over. Hope he liked that!!!!

I a bit confused, you are saying you have a portable?
Does it keep the weather out? Are all sides enclosed?

The permanent... is it a place you have to bring yourt boat, or is
it something you bring home?

Having access to the boat over the winter would be something I would live to have ie.. an enclosure I can get in. So I can do lots of those jobs on it when the weather isn't so bad.
