Seriously, these people have issues, and I'm not talking about the ones for which they fight. If I fish, why wouldn't I put a barbed hook in a frisbee, and chuck it to my dog as well? Hmmmm...let me think. Maybe because my dog will recognize me, stay loyal to me, and offer a personality. Whereas, fish can't even recognize that the piece of plastic moving through the water was the very same piece of plastic that led to them being hauled out of the water by a sharp metal object just hours before. Also, I'm not about to eat my dog (This ain't Thailand), and I've been know to throw pieces of the fish in the oven with some breadcrumbs, butter, lime and pepper. I don't do that with my dog.
These people are out of hand. Take away my recreational fishing and source of an occasional meal, and I'll gladly take to a new sport that I'll call "Find them stupid PETA people and punch them in the eye"ing.
