I like my 6500 ultra cast. Nice smooth reel. I added the power handle and the smoothie drag washers. The drag is far superior to out of the box. I got a great deal on the reel after hemmign and hawing about a mag elite. I'm happy I didn't dump the extra bucks for a mag because I haven't had any trouble casting with it. I would liek a 6500 big game because it comes with the power handle and I am told the reel frame is plated brass rather than aluminum. Another good reel is the 6500C4 a little more than the plain 6500C3, but you get high speed gears and the bearing levelwind. On any 6500 I would recommend the extreme smoothie drag washers. M&D's and Weekapaug both have them.
