Thanks Surf Hunter...I get the idea!! I may be making a trip Feb/March and was curious if I should pack gear or not.

Where are you going in Cali? that can mean the difference right there. March is the start, but weather can be really odd that time of year. It could be nice, or like last year, it could rain for 30 days strait.

the bays usually offer some fihsing then as the bass are migrating out to the ocean. Let me know some of the plans and maybe I can help you more.
