Mark Knopfler is awesome and way under rated!!!

Lindsey B#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&gham from Fleetwood Mac is way under rated!!!

Robert Cray is a great guitar player in my opinion....I am a fan but live he is always a disappointment! Just going through the motions!

I saw the Cray/John Hiatt show at the South Shore Music Circus 2 seasons ago and I went to see Robert Cray.......John Hiatt stole the show as the lead act he set the place on fire and had the crowd going nuts and then Cray came out and everyone fell asleep!!! Cray needs a horn section with him which I have never seen him tour with the 6 times I have seen him....it leaves a huge void in his sound!

John Hiatt won me over big time....that was one of the best performances I have ever seen and I have seen SRV about 7 times, Clapton about 8 times, BB King, Van Halen, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Mark Knopfler with Clapton, Jeff Beck with SRV......John Hiatt was just awesome!!!

Buddy Guy was awesome when I saw him too!!!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

what about buckethead? not really for the playing, but the guy wears a damn bucket on his head!
Seriously though, for more modern guitarists (not from the "classic rock days)
Slash from Guns and Roses and now Velvet Revovler is just incredible in my opinion.

Man, you guys need to grow up! The "how many notes per second" thing is so boring. We have a GREAT guitarist right here in New England who can play rock, jazz, swing and especially BLUES better than just about anyone else: Duke Robillaird. If you've never seen him, get out there and do it! Class, style, soul - and he doesn't need to hide behind a distortion box to do it! Do yourself a favor and hear Duke.

"How many notes a second"........if that is how anyone is judgeing a guitar players talent they might want to find another interest! I will take one long and properly bent SRV or Clapton note infused with emotion, feeling and commitment than 1 million of any "speed metal pretenders" notes any day of the week!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Just listen to Europa.......its spectacular how he makes the guitar sing on that song.

Actually there is one hardcore insane Metal guitarist I will put against any of the "greats".

The late "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott of Pantera and Damageplan will put them all to shame.
