Loosing my hearing...
I think I might be. Ever since the new TOOL album came out my car has been like an atmospheric compression pod.
This could be their best work yet, which is an amazing feat.

Lordy, I'll never forget seeing them 15th row center at "The Dunk" some years ago.
It wasn't just the loudest concert I'd ever been to, seriously it was like I had been violated somehow.

I was at that show...Mikey was way deep in his Dead phase, then..he wouldn't go with me.
Sucka.
What a show, Primus, Alice in Chains, Tool, Rage Against the Machine...surpried I can remember it.
There wasn't a camping site in the whole state the night before.
I remember all the girls in the parking lot were drinking Zima, too, it had just come out!

Very good show - I was there as well. Left half-way through Primus unfortunately. My younger brother was pissed - think he still is sore about it if you bring it up. The couple of Lollapollozas at Great Woods - where the turf was all ripped up and the Butthole Surfers came out with the lead singer firing a shotgun at the crowd was a bit nuts, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers were very good as well. Wont forget the Jim Rose Sideshow of Freaks...
Spence - watch those ears, tinnitus can be very annoying to have to deal with - Brother (drummer) and Dad (years in manufacturing and construction) both have it and it drove my Dad nuts for a while dealing with it.
From Webster Web Dictionary
Main Entry: tin·ni·tus
Pronunciation: 'ti-n&-t&s, t&-'nI-t&s
Function: noun
Etymology: Latin, ringing, tinnitus, from tinnire to ring, of imitative origin
: a sensation of noise (as a ringing or roaring) that is caused by a bodily condition (as a disturbance of the auditory nerve or wax in the ear) and typically is of the subjective form which can only be heard by the one affected

man, i was there too.
sick.
i lost my car for about 3 hours and my friends. found the car but not my friends. drove home solo, picked up some hitchikers and drove them over to burlingame and they paid me KINDly. Ah highschool. those were the days.
Primus is still one of my top five. anything with les claypool for that matter.
Did you guys see 'Flyfishing the World" when les claypool was a guest? He tells the story of how "john the fisherman" is about his father and how they used to go sturgeon fishing in san fransisco bay.
"caught a hundred pound sturgeon on 20 pound test....FISH ON"
