I wished I called it a year last week!! I have been trying to push the fishing season 2 more weeks Ikeep my 23 footer moored
in Ply/King area and had a brain fart not listening to weather forecast on todays storm.I have a 350 #Mushroom with 15' of 5/8
chain. This morning 8 oclock or so I finally listened to the weather
and ahh#^&#^&#^&#^&.I pulled my trailer down to the ramp hopeing to get a ride from the Harbor Master /or launch service dude ,but it looked like the perfect storm no ride available due to the conditions. An hour latter the harbor master called me at home
to inform me that my boat has broken free.I rush back dow n to the ramp with my trailer expecting to pick up what is left of
the vessel.Luckly,a yacht club worker and the launch service
owner were out patroling and were able to grab my boat
before it smashed into the seawall.
The fellas were able to tie the boat up to an empty mooring
and secure it until the weather dies down.I owe these two
guys $$$$.
You can not fool mother nature she always wins.
Tommorrow out she comes!! I hope she survives the night.
