Hey those oysters in Truro wash down the beach from Wellfleet? There used to be a chit load of clams in Eastham north of First Encounter until my little brother and I dug em all up in the 50's and 60's.

Anyone read the shellfishing article in OTW? I used to eat razor clams on a dare on the flats out toward the target ship in the bay. We'd, my buddies and I, would wander around durng the day, get hungry, and go after them. Stick your index and middle fingers in the sand real quick about two inches away from the football shaped water filled divot that marked thier spot. Hit the clam from the side and dig on the other side and pull them out. You had to stick your fingers in quick or you'd be bleeding bigtime.
