Ive used the abyss and like them a lot. There is another type of jig that is even better than those but forget the name of it. When I get the name I'll pm you. We use them on the wrecks SE of Nantucket.
They look sweet, but I would be wary of the eyelets getting mangled if you are bounding on hard bottom. Sometimes when this happens the fish can gain some leverage on the hook and pop it free.
