If you're looking to purchase a quality custom built rod, MikeCC of Cape Cod Tackle is the man to see (There's a link on this site but you're better off going down to talk to Mike. He is a great guy who will definately point you in the right direction). He normally has a good selection of finishedcustom rods.

If you're looking to have one built, there's a builder on this site who does excellent work that I highly recommend. You can choose your colors/design and he can definately guide you in the hard-ware selection /grip/reel seat/eyes/lubrication/chastity belt/etc...

PM me for more information cuz -

As far as which blanks to choose, I can't help ya there. It's always a matter of feel for me...I don't put as much science into rod selection as others do, I let my builder do my homework for me , I just like to fish...I don't worry myself much with the all the details....I used an ugly stick for years and always caught fish and never had any issues with it. You will definately notice the difference with a custom rod, however, if it's doesn't fit the budget....then fudge-it.

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots
