I also use to reg. my station wagon comm. because it was cheaper..all you had to do was keep the back seat down and carry no passanger's.
I was stopped by a state copper on the highway cause I had comm. plates on a car....he put me the front seat of his car and called it in..wasn't he surprised when they called back and said let him go...I'll call my auto insurance co. for answers.. not the cops.

BOAT fish do count.

This demonstrates what is WRONG with this state and its insane thirst for big liberal government. Who gives a $hit what you put on your personal car or truck? I would just do it and ignore any of that. If you get pulled over keep your mouth shut and pay the ticket but I doubt anyone bothers you. If they do they have some real problems

That said, you may want to consider getting a comm plate and deduct the cost of the vehicle as a business expense. Also, if you get an Excursion (giant SUV) I think you can get a tax credit!

I want you to arrest a DTE inspector she told me to take my breakaway plastic window pins out and replace them with cotter pins with pull rings so I ask how do you keep them from falling out she said just bend the ends over, ok 1st week in lady rips her jacket on the cotter pin wants me to pay for it not only that she made my vehicle a saftey hazard the metal cotter pins wont break like the plastic ones can you see the vehicle flipped filled with smoke someones tring to kick out the emergency window it wont budge because it got metal pins in Man I hate the state and its stupid regulations now I have to go to a hearing and waste time and explain the dangers of this non sense Big Fish I would advertise all over that with no commercial plate the Money you make might be alot more than the stupid $35.00 fine!!!!!!!!!

When the cop pulls you over, suggest that he leave you alone and instead focus on actual crime.

They love that.

In all seriousness, and no disrespect meant, police manpower is a valuable and limited resource that's probably best allocated to things other than vehicle lettering.
