I lived in Mass for 5 years, CT and RI for 2. Recently I was talking to a customer about the differences between Texas (where he lives and where I lived for a short time) and the northeast, and it really is night and day.
It's too bad, because otherwise New England is a great place to live.

Your not kidding,,,, People are very friendly in TX. So are the women.... I have been working for a company here for 3 years and have had a lot of fun being a single guy with lots of good looking women around.. oops,, can I talk like that here,,,,.But I do have to say the Dallas/Ft Worth area is the only place I know where they build houses without kitchens,, j/k... I have never seen so many restaurants that are busy all the time... It is amazing....
Never the less I sure miss the fishing in CT New England and BI... Can't wait to get back there and start fishing this summer and fall,,,, It seems like my many 2 1/2 week trips go by way to fast....

Will be interesting to see how the new Captain does, forgot his name but he's the kid who got P.O.'ed last year when the Cap told him he had to wait alittle longer.
I know it's "reality" TV, but when he called the other Cap's to ask what's happening, where to drop, etc. I said get real, as if his old Cap, who still ownes the boat, didn't give him some real good spots, advice and guidance. Sure all the Caps get along well, and would always come to each others rescue, but when push comes to shove, and they have to fill their pots before the storm, watch-out, every boat for themselves.
By the way, how did this thread get talking about us a-holes in New England?
