Replacing buckle lace thingies on Wader Boots
Not sure what the technical term is for the grommet / lace contraptions on wading shoes but I popped off about 7 this morning between both shoes. These are not the lace grommet so much as the clip that is riveted into the boot that the laces go through. Any suggestions on replacing these?
Thanks!
John

Hows your grommet?
John try a yard goods store like Joann Fabrics. They should have grommets for tailered clothes use that would be the same as what you need.

just redid mine this year John.cut off old clips with some snips ,dont tear the shoe, and wally world has the grommets and a small tool to install them in the crafts dept. for 2-3 bugs..you might need to enlarge the hole w/ a drill about 3/16 for new ones
