I've got an 18' skiff which I launch out of Wessagussett (Back River).

Weather permitting, I'll be on the water every weekend and depending on my work schedule, some late afternoons.

I haven't fished the Quincy Bay area properly since I was a tyke in the late 60's.

Primarily, I do recreational lobstering, but prefer to do entire days on the water vs. simply launching the boat, hauling traps and going back in.

No expenses, I've got a new 30 HP 4 stroke which has yet to burn 5 gallons on a trip.

This baby really moves, my GPS clocked 17 MPH with the tide and the wind .

Primarily, I've been shore fishing the east end of the canal whenever possible, just to catch something.

If you know anything about how to fish out of a boat, I'll be thrilled to escort you to the fishing grounds.
