Ask politely at the tackle shops for darker or bigger eels, i picked up a dozen tonight and 10 were small and sand colored. They still work but id imagine they blend in and can hide alot better then the bigguns.

Keep'm in a black bucket w/no light and they will darken right up makes them into "eelveal"
