I recently bought the Garmin 440S through the internet (
www.anchorexpress.com). The price was over $100 less than any local store. So far I really like the unit. The display has great resolution and it is bright enough to see in direct sunlight. The buttons are easy to navigate and the menu's are laid out well. I did not get the g2 chip, but the pre-loaded charts seem to be pretty good for Boston Harbor.
