Broke one, and replaced them with the Aftco roller trollers. Unfortunately they are the new style, and I don't like them as much (they're just ok). The older style roller trollers (where the tension control is a silver dail in the middle) are much better if you can find them.

I think I read that AFTCO is now making both the new and old styles, since a lot of guys didn't like the new ones.

When using the rubber band are you bypassing the release clip all together? What is the breaking limit on a #64 rubber band? Is my diagram correct?

something like this.
put the rubber band arround the main line, double it back on itself, twist it arround itself a bunch of times, then put the little loop end in the swivel clip.
