some rigs are nice. mainly bait rigs, most rods the boats rent arent very good to jig with. too short and they have mono. but a jig and some teasers arent a bad idea, just get an 18 oz jig , norweigan or my favorite is this one i have that just looks like a shad. for teasers the 4" soft plastic shad are good mounted on a gamgatsu 7/0 octopus hook. a heavy duty snap is good too. if your going soon say december 1st
you might want some neoprene gloves big enough to fit a liner into.
