I got the reel and the kit from him on friday. First trip out with the newell last night and I cought 5 bass up to about 24lbs while the guy I fish with got bit off by bluefish for 3 hours. Thanks HABS

You can just cut the bail and polish it up, pull the bail stop lever out. It will work fine. Tune the balance up with a little lead.
