7 dollar plugs can do the trick though too... i caught my largest 47.75 pound fish on a bomber. so dont think it cant happen. dont get me wrong, the customs are amazing but sometimes the cheaper lures def dont get the acknowledgment they sometimes deserve.

Thanks guys, feel like deleting this whole post for causing a big haggle 
I think I should stick to chunking  .
But after buying my first "professional"plug, I see why they cost what they do.
Since there is no rush at this time of the season, I`m buying 1 or 2 every couple weeks from the sponsers here |

Here's my ringing endorsement for The Edge.
Just ordered Zeno's new book, and had it in me grubby mitts
in two days. UPS, very neatly packed and a bonus SWE sticker to boot!!
The boyz at The Edge are very knowledgable, Pete places a very high priority on customer service, and they have not one but TWO of NE's sharpest pros at yer disposal should one decide to make the very worthwhile trip into their surfcasters heaven.
I have spoken with the Iron One and Steve McKenna at length on many occassions and each time they have been willing to put up with my case of the "hungries" and a trip there has always been worth its weight in gold and gas mileage. Hell, early(11:01  ) one Sunday last Spring it was just Steve and me in the shop and he taught me his Sluggo rig, side by side, and then gave me a tutorial on his retrieve. Five minutes with Mike Everrin is like an entire season on the water. His ability to impart his knowledge in practical and no nonsense fashion has crushed my learning curve, radically.
While it's not the only place on the Striper Coast to get quality gear, attentive service, and invaluable helps and insights, it is always at the top of my list. Their online service and web site are top notch as well. Check 'em out danno1, you won't be disappointed  . |

I read on the saltwater edge they were having a fishing show in February at the viking hotel.I was wondering if it was for anybody who wants to go and who of the plugbuiders will be there I'm going to start saving a little cash and would like to buy some of custom plugs.
