the reelseat is marked Varmac nf-3
this rod is from Oregon state wraps are not epoxied some type of clear coat the action is Pissa it might weigh abit more but with the 704 greenie and some pencil poppers or Tins

If the second picture is the ferrule where the tip section joins the wooden butt, that looks like a pretty thick blank wall.

OH yea ,Mike I'll bring down to M&D's some weekend, for such a big stick it balances out nice not the lightest set up but it will be just fine for me .

Yup It's a Fen Glass rod and belive it or not it's easier to cast and use for plugging poppers, pencil poppers, needle fish for me I had no fore arm fatigue compared to my lighter stuff It just balances out for me , I also caught 4, keepers I kept the 34" all the others were between 37" / 42" no weight under #20.
All fish caught in local H2O way back from open water
