I've had a lot of luck with rattletraps. Not on big fish but schoolies and bluefish. They cast pretty decent but their hooks, especially the smaller ones are on the weak side. I have 2 Gag's Mr. Bunkers but no luck with them just yet. Maybe this year.

Also can't go wrong with poppers. Creekchubs are great lures. I have a few of them.

I don't usually fish with hard plastics or wood, but this year is going to change. Soft plastic teasers and hard plastic or wood casting lure.
