I must be "unloved" or not love enough....As far as "where I go", I don't tell my wife and she doesn't ask - the only thing she might ask is if I'm going alone or not - she's probably doing her own kind of fishing when I'm out

I simply say - "see you tomorrow" OR - "I'll be back in a few hours", depends on what my plan is,,, that way she knows how much time
she has.
I never leave a map or game-plan with anyone, sometimes if anything was said at all, it changes after 10 minutes of driving - ?? -
Anyone that fishes with me, knows the first few spots to search if I come up missing, after that, it's a crap/shoot...but it would take at least 24 hours before a "search" would commence anyway...and by then, it's probably too late.
I've learned 2 important things when fishing with someone else, :::
1. When fishing with someone who has equal passion, there's always a conflict of where and when to go, being very agree-able, I normally give in -
2. When fishing with someone who doesn't fish - there's the other restraint of time, how long
they want to fish/fear and newbyness -
Now-adays I prefer to fish with company unlike the past when I'd
always fish alone, I find more enjoyment when I'm with a friend to share my time and memories with. You can't beat fishing alone though - as there is nothing holding you back, but even then...I don't leave game plans as I could end up just about anywhere,,,from jiggin the cape to catchin squid off the docks of Gallilee...I just never know.
AND - I don't buy it that Goose leaves a game/plan as he always blind-folds me and duct-tapes my hands behind my back (until we get there) when we fish together...if he does leave a game-plan, he probably puts it in a bottle and burys it in the backyard.
