Chill tonight. Hockey tomorrow with my daughter's then bring them sledding. Out to dinner with the wife Saturday night. Open ice hockey Sunday @ 7 AM (you gotta love the time. Drink some moonshine and watch the Daytona 500 on Sunday. I think Jr. is going to win, what do I know though? Off on Monday, recover from moonshine, maybe hit gym....

Sharpening the hooks on the new rebel I scored this week.

Painting the new finished basement room, its almost done.
Maybe take a ride to plugfest if I can find the time as I haven't been to one yet. That is, if they'll let a lowly eel fisher in the door.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole

Been on the road all week. Went to the "shore house" to check it and found 3" of water in the finished part of the basement. I'll be there all weekend.

No boat, back in the suds.

Cooking for the wife tonight. Head to the office tomorrow for a few hours to get ahead for an extremely busy week ahead. Hang with my little guy who just had his first birthday. Dinner with the wife and some friends Saturday night.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

The last time I was on pain meds I went out and bought the Beatles Blue album 1967-70. Call me a f*g but still I think that was the best music ever recorded.
enjoy!

still by the firelight
and purple moonlight
I hear the rusted river's call
