The pros and cons have already been mentioned, so I will just say that I use and like both. The sensitivity of braid is undeniable, especially on LONG cast. No line stretch to deal with, and less missed strikes.

What I use is braid on most on my Abu's, and some others.
While I use Fireline on my spinners. I works well for me this way.
I like the thin diameter, of the superlines, and the strength.
It is really a personal preference my friend, you use what works for you.
That's why there are so many on the market.
