I have caught some fish over the years on the full moon, but generally the fishing on the Cape, is far better closer to the new moon. The fish here always seem difficult to catch when the moon is BRIGHT. This does not seem to be the case on a full moon with heavy cloud cover if you find fish. Anything in white, yellow, pink, or variations of these such as wonderbread or chicken scratch will do, and eels are always a good choice, regardless of moon phase.
