Mr. Macey,
Cook them @ home to rare and wrap them up in a large foil pan, they sell them @ costco, and I will do the rest.
I'm still not sure what I'm bringing, maybe some kind of pasta dish from the way things look.
Later,
Rick

OK - I'll put it up the address again (it got burried somewhere in the thread :eek4: ):

Make check for $10 per couple out to Linesider Technologies & Mail to:

Linesider Technologies (Sounds real techy, hehehehe)
P.O. Box 9183
Warwick, RI. 02889

I have many checks in from people and I'm going to start sending the tickets back this week. If you have a suggestion or question, feel free to post it here or PM me.

Thanks!

Along w/ the address getting buried I thing dir. were there also so in case your wondering:
VFW 508997-1707, 109 Middle St. Fairhaven MA

The Holiday Inn is right across the street, 508 997-1281
Hampton Inn is a couple of miles up the road 508 990-8500

For those travelling East on I-195(from RI) take the rt. 18 downtown New Bedford exit. Stay in the right lane, take the third right, FAIRHAVEN, bear left and you will soon cross the infamous New Bedford/Fairhaven bridge. Stay in the right lane, at the traffic light bear right. The VFW is right there on your left.

For those West bound(Cape) you will go over the Acushnet River and take the rt. 18 downtown NewBedford exit(2nd right after the river) Take your third right, Fairhaven, bear left, cross the New Bedford/Fairhaven bridge. Stay in the right lane, at the traffic light bear right. The VFW is right there on your left.

For folks like slip travelling from Middleboro you may want to come in by the "backroads". Take rt. 105 thru Lakeville, stay straight travelling through the waterworks and Quitticas, continue straight thru the 4 way intersection South bound into Acushnet. If you come in from North Ave., Rochester bear left at this intersection(you will have the stop sign). After about 5 mi. you will be in the center of Acushnet and a 4way stop sign. Bear left for about 2 mi., 'till you hit a traffic light. Continue straight until another light. Bear right here and get in the left lane and bear left at the next traffic light which is only a few yards ahead of the last light. The VFW is right on your left.

This is more than I have typed in years and is hopefully correct, however, there maybe a senior moment in here somewhere so......... that being said if you need clarification PM me and I will give you my # and hopefully not confuse you much more than I already have.

another day in paradise

Guys,
I'm now down to three tickets; I'll be there with my bro and another friend of ours to start setting up the kitchen.
On the cleanup end; I'll probably be on the look out for a couple or five volunteers to straighten up the kitchen after we all eat.
Any help would be appreciated.
Later,
Rick

Guys,
I know that this is our first big get-together; anyhow I used to be quite the public speaker back in the day, so I'd love to give an opening monologue...if that's ok with everybody.
When I was a kid, fishing for bass was a closely guarded secret. It took a lifetime of scmoozing with guys like Habs and the #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& to get just one of their secrets.
Now anybody can post a question, rediculous or not, and have it answered by any number of surf-masters in a matter of seconds.
Me personally, I'd just like to say thanks to the database of great fishermen and women on this site.
I'd really like to write something to sum up how much appretiation I feel for all the good advice. I'm sure John will be making a statement akin to what I'm trying to redress...but anyhow, if y'all deem it kosher...I'd like to present a little something.
Please post responses... I don't want to rant and rave if you don't want to hear it, but you all have been like family to me.
Later,
Rick

Hi Rick, I would just keep in mind that its a mixed group so the content of your monologue should be PG rated.
