Fishsmith:

The ramp is down the road from the small underpass.
If you take the freeport St. exit from the expressway northbound, you just go right between the tank and the yacht club.

If from morrisey the underpass is between the dodge and toyota dealerships.

Since 9-11 there has been a guard at the road, I think he just checks to see why you are heading that way (probably because it is close to the gas tank.)---BOOM !!!

RockL says it might be closed, I don't know but it sure is possible in light of the current security measures.

I used to launch there for years and never had a problem.
But my ramp of choice is Weymouth.

There is also a ramp at Anchor marina in Quincy behind sportsman's den. But I know for a fact that it is real tight there, only 1/2 the ramp was open last season, and there is almost NO parking. Early season is worse cause of all the boats in the yard.

It used to cost 10 bucks to launch.

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.
