Casts well, swims at very slow retrieves, rolls a ton (it actually will do barrel rolls with a sharp twitch). You can't pop it. Stays barely subsurface and doesn't leave much wake. I'd expect it to suck, but it has become one of my most productive plugs. Go figure. Here is a close up with a fish a lurker named Earlybird took. As an aside, the conrad jr's have proven to be very useful as well, particularly off jetties.
