Little Story on Police boats:
We were pulled over in our 26' Searay one time last summer over near quonset point. We had to be going 50 mph and the Police boat just zoomed out infront of us with the power-hauler (radio) "Reduce Throttle"- i was amazed it could go that fast.
They pulled us over to tell us our Bow Registration numbers were to Lightly colored and to replace them w/ dark color asap... (How they seen our bow numbers at 50 mph is strange- i think they spotted them when we was docked over at Harborside and just felt like following & bothering us
)
I'm pretty sure it wasn't one of them 75mph police boats- but this one sure toped 50.
