In this case, I'd reach for a squid slug-go. Because some guy just caught a respectable fish on it, and I'd be an fool not to.

Bucktail. I like a single hook during a blitz. If I want to have some fun and watch the fish crash on top i'd put on a SS littleneck popper, yellow that is.

Always start with a pencil, I love those things ... but if that doesn't produce, will work my way down into the water column ... metal and then jigs ... but the explosion on a pencil is always spectacular and worth the price of admission.

metal, kastmaster single dressed hook, dipped in menhaden oil. if we are talkin plugs, wood...id say the 1oz yellow polaris style popper I make.
