Where do you get the orvis leaders you are talking about. On their web site I see them but they are for fly lines. Got-a-link?
BTW, for the past 2 years I have been using berkely vanish flor. leaders and they are ok, not great but ok (40#). Knot strenght is not as good as I would like it to be. But flor. is indeed clearer then plain heavy mono and I have noticed a difference in more hookups.
There are a lot more leaders out there now and I have only used a couple.
