I've always used girls' step-through bikes for my Canal ride, but it's tough to find one with a big enough frame for me to pedal comfortably, even with the seat extended as far as possible. Yea mike, the angle seems to work fine. Instead of swinging my leg back, I just step over the frame, its not too bad.
...and yes, the only thing that I have test ridden is the bike.
